Fucked over in Philly - 12/06/02

If you really think about it, it makes a lot of sence.

First a week ago Axl says his favorite songs are Better, TWAT and the Blues, and now we have IRS, TWAT and half of Better.

If IRS is the first single of the album, and management was the ones behind the leaks, wouldn't it make sence that TWAT and Better would be released since we've already heard the Blues.

Phase 2, they make it real hard to find the tracks by telling forums not to host them.  Now even more people are intrested and trying to get their hands on it, because it's hard to.  Look at how many people came on the boards begging for the tracks.  If you could just go to any site and download them, I bet some of the people who came on here and asked would have waited a week.

Gn'R went from have little intrest (for the moment) to having tons of intrest, not just from Gn'R fans, but from everybody.  It's insane.  There could be a multi-million dollar advertising plot for Chinese Democracy, but not all the money combined would get the intrest that these leaks have gotten over the last couple days - for free!

Could this be round 2?  Does Chinese Democracy start now?  I know it's a long shot that Axl or mgt. is behind this, but the more you think about it the more it makes sence.  ::enter twilight zone music::

There are a ton of threads about this.

Either they're behind it, or they're taking advantage of it...

it could be that they want the links taken off websites so that individual people do not illegally have the song on their computer. just like how people "have to" pay for songs online but can turn on the radio and hear it when it comes on the radio for free. Radio station can have a song, and you can listen to it there, but your not "supposed" to download songs on the internet without paying for it.

Anyone who would pay for the news  songs  is an idiot. They are not that good. $.99 is too much.
