Why did he fire entire GNR line up as we knew it (needles to say who was the weakest link!)?
Seems like you don't know your gnr history, the only 2 people that were fired from gnr was adler and sorum. The rest quit on their own accord. So please just post facts from now on.

Matt left after a row with Axl (you wouldn't belive this one), Gilby had only his pay checks not coming in to him so he sued Axl.
He never got a letter from GNR camp that he was fired (trust me on this one. He told me last year.).
Plus, it says in the Live ERA he was 'just' additional musician.
Also, they all planed to leave so they signed a contract for careing Axl Rose, who cared for his fans and threatend he won't enter the stage as long as Slash and co don't sign the contract that night, that he could carry on with the GNR 'brand', well into the UYI tour.
