whats so interesting is the write up about the Jacket

DESCRIPTION: This GUNS N' ROSES "Appetite For Destruction" era jacket is genuinely ONE OF A KIND!! I obtained this jacket in 2001 from Guns N' Roses guitarist IZZY STRADLIN'!! Izzy Stradlin' received this jacket on the 1991 "Use Your Illusion" tour as a gift from an "obsessed" Japanese fan!! Stradlin' kept the handmade jacket and held onto it over the years as a unique souvenier from his GN'R days.

I met Izzy Stradlin back in 2001 when my old band Pure Rubbish recorded our debut album "Glamorous Youth". The album was produced by Mike Clink (same producer as Guns N' Roses) and was recorded at Rumbo Recorders (the same studio that Guns N' Roses recorded "Appetite for Destruction"). Stradlin' just so happened to be recording his solo album "River" at Rumbo Recorders at the same time Pure Rubbish was recording our album and we were fortunate enough to meet him and hang out with him a few times!!

On one of the last days we were recording, Izzy stopped by and brought a few surprises for all of us in the band to choose to have. Needless to say I chose this jacket to have cuz I thought it was the coolest of the bunch!! The other rare Guns N Roses items my bandmates received were... Hollywood Rose rare video tape footage and some Hollywood Rose/Rapidfire demos that have yet to be officially released (Rapidfire was Axl's first band even before A.X.L./Rose/Hollywood Rose),  a signed copy (by all the members) of the 1st  pressing of the "Appetite For Destruction" LP with the famous banned cover art, and some vintage guitar pickups that Izzy once used in one of his guitars).

I've worked too hard for my illusions just to throw them all away.
