I do this evry so often break into mybig collection of rock mags I collected through my younger years and now reflect.. I haven't seen this issue in about as many years it is old..

I though I would give you where afd was and the always excluded illusions

#8 at that time was afd.., loud fast n furious like a rabid pit bull.. gnr snarled their way onto the rock scene... afd one of the most engrossing debuts ever...  an essential MUST for have for any collection

#27 gnr uyi 1-2 with two discs encompassing nearly 3 hours of music there was something for everyoneon thesre two seperate discs.. Hey there was even a nasty shot at hit parader included in axl's get in the ring (snarling)

back then rounding out the top ten was

10VH-VH
9 ac/dc back n black
8 afd
7 aeromsith rock
6 sabbath paranoid
5 PJ ten
4 ozy blizzard of oz
3 kiss alive
2 zepplin zoso
1 metallica -metallica (black album)

Well there you have it 12 years agos top ten.. Notice no nevermind.. STP core was 28-stp purple was 65 since we have vr now thought I would throw the mention.. nevermind was 20th.. guess the death had not sunk in yet.. hihi

Yeah, thats a pretty good list, but they should definitely have rearranged the order. Even people who aren't hardcore GNR fans would say AFD ranks higher than Pearl Jam's Ten.

No way! AFD is the best rock album of all time. Okay so I'm biased and can think of a couple that possibly could go ahead of AFD, but Ten is not one of them.

this is just some all time list from a mag....  it has nothing to do with chart positions
