Why was the Gandhi thread locked? I'm not complaining about it, but rather am asking out of curiosity. The discussion was friendly and respectful, I thought. Cheers.

Because it turned into a discussion about religion.

Religion and politics, two topics we don't need to discuss at the moment. It only leads to stupid fights because people just can't agree to disagree.

Well I didn't think a post about religion would be a problem, as nothing was said about that in the new policy. It was not my intention to break the rules.
