Did anyone else notice this? They were playing it during the Ravens-Bears game. It wasn't being played at the stadium. They played it during one of their segments before the next commercial. Interesting. I know the NFL uses Jungle at the stadiums, and ocassionally Paradise City, but its the first time I've heard an AFD song that wasn't a hit being used like that.

A couple years ago Fox used a bunch of songs in their pregame show.  DTJ was one of them.  I think they also used Back off Bitch.  There used to be a thread about it but I can't find it.  Someone said that the producer was a huge fan.

Yup,
I started a thread like this during last season's football games '04 (American football that is).  I remember commenting on the kick-ass DTJMF'er! being played on CBS's pre-game show.  I remember telling my wife exactly what you said, "Someone at CBS must be a fan too!"   ok

I heard My World about 4 years ago on the Fox pregame show. They were doing a piece on Ray Lewis, I think.

Another GNR musical note on the cut-away from game to commercial...this time Rocket Queen, (the guitar from the intro. of RQ)

The game was either 4th quarter of Packers-Eagles, or OT of Giants-Seahawks.  I know some folks have mentioned hearing GNR on the Fox football game broadcasts, but this is the first time I've heard it on Fox.  I've heard it used on CBS many times.

The NFL has been using alot of great rock from the past lately. During the 2nd quarter of Giants-Seahawks game, they used 'My Wave' from Soundgarden.

I mentioned DTJ earlier in this thread...on CBS.  I found it cool that Fox used Rocket Queen today.    peace

During a NASCAR race on FOX last June, they played the opening riff to SCOM before going to commercial.  And since the FOX people have the same people working NASCAR and NFL, the producer or someone must be a huge fan.  But really, there's nothin' except positive stuff about GN'R, this would be yet another perfect time to release the album.  Of course, how many perfect times have passed already???

I thought you meant NFL players are using heroin.
