Hi friends!,I?m new here...I?m 37 from Spain,Am I the older one here?...this is to let you know that the other day i went to a friend?s house and saw a Cheap Trick dvd called Silver,it was a concert with guests recorded in the summer of 99 and to my surprise Slash played in a song...He was fat and in bad shape,he looked sick...Have you seen this? what happened to him at this time?

age..drugs..booze, that whole deal I assume.
he looked allright in 2000 when the second Snakepit album came out, even though Ive read an interview with him where he said he was a mess then too.

He probably looks better now because he's said in a few different interviews that he works out at the gym. He probably looked bad in 99 because from what I've read his drinking and drug use was on the rise then.

I think he looked sick in 2000 (but made a great labum). Even his hair seemed to be ill.

yeah he really was bloated for a while around 99-00.. No doubt boozing was definetly the thing.. Alcohol inflates your face like no tomorrow

I read the setlist and they played Lennon's "I'm Losing You" - interesting.
