According to you, could they be part of real songs? There has always been a real mystery around them since the Use Your Illusion Tour. Axl has always stayed quiet about them...
This one if from Oklahoma'92 and sounds great http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5Q3WK7SD
There are plenty of others, both from the USI erea, and from the 2002 tour.?All of them sound great to me.

To tell you the truth, I think there may something behind. I can't see those piano solos as "just a jam". When something sounds so good, it would be a waste not to think about making real songs.

The only one that I think would be a possibility would be the one at MSG in 02. ?I think it was before November Rain, he made that sly little smile to Dizzy after he did that little short song.

Yeah the Asshole Song will be the lead track on CD. It rocks.

To be honest though I oft wonder from up on high about things like this. Robin's solo at the start of Sweet Child is also a lovely little ditty. On one of the DVD's I have you can see Richard air strumming as if he was timing his entrance, but never does.

I play keyboards and find that I often pick up little melodies and play about with them instead of playing the music in front of me. When you play an instrument you often get bored and just mess about until you find something like a combination of notes that just fits. Mine are not of the quality of the Axe man's though.

Never heard the Osaka one. ?If you ever hear the Radiohead track "Pyramid Song", It sounds similar. ?I head that jam at MSG and it made the hairs on my arm to stand up. ?If he has songs like that on CD, we are in for a great ride. ok

I can't deny those solos sound great cuz I once asked to myself  your same question when i heard a rare solo before November rain from Pittsburg 2002, even i asked  to a good friend o'mine ?if it could be a part of another song before playin' November rain? but my pal said 'no, it's not, it's just a solo, that?s it? but maybe Axl isn't the only one to fill his song with weird solos, remember he?s a? Elton john fan since he was a kid, Axl always wanna be like his hero

playing those solos Axl has showed he does know how to play the fucking piano, people like Elton John do it all the time, Bon Jovi also did it before playin' the bed of roses on his unplugged called ?one night with Bon Jovi? in 1993 so it's just a part of the show business in the end!   Roll Eyes

Elton John is a fantastic artist. I was a fan of his music in 1991, just before discovering GN'R. It would be good to send the whole Elton John discography to Matt Sorum aka "what's with the piano"? hihi (I like Matt, but this is the most moronic comment I ever heard)

Yeah, Axl's little piece he played before 'November Rain' was something to behold. I'd flip out if it's the melody of a real song...

Weird that piano tune was ringing in my ears throughout this morning. What a coincidence!
I thought that was just my guilty conscience telling me I should practice piano. Tongue

I don't know if it's a part of an actual song he's been working on for long....or rather if it will make an album.

Yo! Nice to see ARV sober. ok

yeah I?ve not been usin' crack 2 days ago but I?m not sure if i will lay it off definitively...I also play piano n' i can honestly say Axl's a fucking genius cuz the guy's been playing amazing solos since the UYI tours so please believe me it?s not so fucking easy to do so that?s why Axl does rules guys, these times the ridiculous bands called ?rock stars? they can?t play the piano at their concerts, either their guitars don?t sound loud anyway so I don?t know why people buy their fucking stuff these days,I know that Axl wishes to be in front of them to kick'em in their asses! hihi

this piano intro is beautiful, deep, dark.

hope it's part of one of the new songs, it sounds really great.
