Have GN'R made a cover of this or something? I was looking for some lyrics on the net and found that there are Cats in the cradle... lyrics under the name of Guns N' Roses. Here's the link.

Thats funny! I've never heard GNR being mistaken for Ugly Kid Joe. That's just as bad as my mom's boyfriend thinking GNR sang 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'! I got so sick of having to tell him that it wasn't GNR, it was POISON! rant

I was watching some sites with tabs and there was always a Cats in the cradle made by GN'R, and I wondered where the heck, when actually did they cover it or something like that.
Nice song by the way and actually not an Ugly Kid Joe creation.

Once I was wearing a GN'R shirt while walking into a strip club and the bouncer started singing Every Rose.  He was a big dude though, so I let it go.  Not that I have a problem with Poison or anything.

If it was then you got some balls correcting him.  I wouldn't have said anything if he thought Winger was GN'R.
