As I've mentioned elsewhere, the economy is in excellent condition when you consider what gas prices are. If we had cheap gas, the economy would be booming more than it did in the 90's.

that oil prices are cheaper

Bush has nothing to do with this. Demand is growing because the population is growing, and supply is shrinking. It's just good old economics at work here.

that the war in Iraq is going well

It is. It's just going to take time. It's more of a war on terror now, since many insurgents are from foreign countries. We're fighting not only Iraq, but other enemies. That's why its difficult, but it's worth it.

that support for the president is not at 37 percent

I don't believe this. It's from a bad poll, that's all.

that sufficient armor was given to the troops, etc etc.

Armor doesn't make a difference to an AK bullet or a roadside bomb. It only stops pistol shots, stray fire from a long way away, and minor shrapnel. It's also bulky and hot in 110 degree heat. Armored vehicles put more strain on the engine and make them too bulky. Armor is so overrated compared to flexibility.
