Chinese Democracy is probably one, if not the, most anticipated album ever.? But my question is this.? What if it sucks?? I've heard that Axl completed it 3 times but was never happy with the finished product so he scrapped everything and started over from scratch.

What if Axl is never happy with the album?? Would everyone be content with no album or would you rather see it surface despite it being below expectations?? I'm sure it will surface someday but what will everyone do IF this happens...?

Well alot of people on here think it's gonna be the best thing ever recorded and quite frankly it's an unrealistic expectation. IMO the best shit comes from not even trying.

Well it's really hard to say but the thing is, if Axl isn't happy about it, it doesn't mean the rest of the world won't be happy about it...

Everyone has a different kind of taste so in the end you'll have to judge it your self

i ll take it even if it sucks because its guns n roses. i mean the godfather 3 sucked but its still pacino.  but i think CD will get criticized whether its great or terrible.

i dont think it will suck... what axl does dont suck!
btw the album have never been finished... what axl have re-done is the production ( or most of the parts of the differents productions that cd or subseuqents discs had).... first part of cd (98-2000) was with sean beavan.. and had a more electronic sound... the RTB came to the project and they redid most of san bevans work and this stage had a more epic sound (2000-2002)... after fired RTB axl took the production role... and seems that axl redid most what beavan and RTB did...

At this point, I think that Chinese Democracy will almost certainly be below our expectations.  Axl's taken so long with this goddamn thing that he's built up expectations that are way too huge.

If it sucks I'll be pretty damn pissed, but what can one really do about it?  Of course if it does suck, then that makes the possibilities of a reunion just a little greater.  So there would be a silver lining.
