either way there is only one gnr and they have passed, no need to pass on this band as gnr.. I never knew because the guy sings it automatically made him  leader... Gnr is that big product that made a great wordlwide sellable name for itself.. Just like any product that was bui;lt with blood sweat and tears.. Take an example of something like gucci, great product, has a great reputation.. Now they could sell gucci and any old person could make them now and it would still sell big time.. It's name has become so big that the people in the public don't even care or no anymore but they will still buy it because of the name.. Wether it's seeing gnr or buying a gucci it's all the same, name is biger then anyone involved.. New gnr will do good but because of it's past well marketed reputation..

The reason everyone jumps if axl surfaces is because he is a bizarre recluse, people also jump for tyson and wacko jacko but nowadays it's all for their weird behaviour over their former talents.. Same reason marlon brando got such attention, bizarre recluse who was once great..

I can tell you one reason for the slow sales, and why ticketmaster hasn't taken $200 from my credit card yet; and that's Hoobastank.? Honestly, VR's own drummer publicly sites them as being bad music, and a month or so later he is out on tour with them.? Whatever VR gained in the Hoobastank fan base they lost in VR fans who saw through them, dare I say, "selling out".? What kind of self proclaimed "dangerous and unpredictable rock band" picks an opener who's only hit is The Reason.?

Now I know you don't go to a show for the opener (insert MMM and CKY joke here) but to say that you are something, have your own band member individually call out a band as being a shitty, and then the next thing you know they are asking $50 a ticket for you to go see them and, in case VR can't sell enough tickets on their own, their backup plan Hoobastank (oftly familiar with Metallica going with their backup plan - Godsmack).? I think I read in Rolling Stone last summer that Hooba's lead singer didn't drink, smoke, party, or do anything to raise trouble.? Seems kind of contradicting with a headliner who is "based" on the opposite of that.?

Maybe the reason for my rant is because I love VR's music, but just can't stand this fake image that they are portraying, and mainly that I can't ask my friends if they want to go with me cause they will just laugh at me when I tell them who else is playing.?

Nicely said! VR has 3 Days Grace opening for em in Hamilton ON.......same type of band as hoobastank...comercial crap....who's opening the 2nd leg of the tour?....3 doors down,nickleback?? ?

I never said anything about releases. Im just pointing out that slash was a replacement. Something slash fans will never acknowledge.

I like Slash & I'll acknowledge that Tracii Guns was  the original lead guitarist for some band no one had ever heard called GnR. Then things happened, Slash hooks up with Axl/Izzy, then he helps write some of the greatest songs ever written & GnR becomes huge. So what's the big deal?

Yeah for a whole few months.. Yeah and rob garnder is the drummer player.. The people you have on your first albums are the people that are members of the band/... That is just idiotic the band's lineup was never finalized until they got a record deal adn that was with the 5 on axl's arm... You juggle the lineup when forming  a band then the guys a tthe end are the right people.. You can't call someone a replacement whent he band had just started and was a bunch of nobodies..

Because traci is so known for his work on gnr..
Next thing cb will be saying traci is the best guitar player gnr ever had, while there he accomplished everything

ok I hate hoobastank and 3 days grace, but as I said before vr are a new group so they ned someone who is mainstream and has some audience already to help them get more people in the arenas/.. I also mentioned vr are in a middle stage, a little to big for small venues and not big enough for large venues, but you have to go larger to expand even if you can't fill all the seats.

They also have to pick someone semi popular but not overly popular.. They might not like hoobastank or 3 days grace but they just need some group people know..
