hey i was wondering if anybody knew how slash got his sound for fall to pieces like the amout of mid etc?Huh

I'll say this ....

don't expect your amp and guitar to sound the same with teh same settings as Slash... unless you have the same or very similar gear...

Slashs uses his Sig Marshall amp, which is roughly a copy of the 2555 Marshall Silver Jubiliee JCM 800 amp...Les Paul with Seymour Duncan alnico pickups, Dunlop Wah Wah and an MXR 10 band equalizer...Im not sure if he rolled the tone knob down on that song or if its a wah wah cocked a little bit back...but set your guitar ot the neck pickup, dont have too much treble on the amp and add more mids and a fair amount of bass...also distortion at about 6 and turn it up  Wink
