Hey, I just bought tix to see VR at the PNC bank arts center on may 20th. I just wanted to know how are they live? I mean I hope they are because I'm going to see my heroes (Matt,Duff,Slash) not becuz i think that Contraband is a great album. Contraband was kind of a dissapointment to me as well as many others aside from songs like Slither, Fall to Pieces, Dirty little thing, and no. 4 or 5 (i dont know the name). Either way im excited to see them play the staples like It's So Easy and Mr. Brownstone. Your imput is appreciated.

I think they are amazing live, I am going to my second show at jone's beach may 14th... Lots of energy and a real good rock n roll show.. Most people who have saw the shows have loved them.. PNC should be a great time, very cool pit like arena, around 5-7 thousand seats.. I was driving south towards seaside a few weeks ago and saw the billboard.. Enjoy..

Jarmo thinks they are an incredible live band. He is not allowed to say that, so he directs you to the part of the forum where concert reviews are discussed. Way to be objective and just report the news, but not give your opinion. Just kidding. THEY ARE A BAD ASS LIVE BAND. YOU WILL LOVE THEM AND THE SONGS FROM THE ALBUM SOUND MUCH BETTER LIVE!!

Jarmo, I knew you would like that! I think I have been 99% right today on how you feel. Give me some props! I usually try to bust your balls, but I am always being sarcastic about it.

I think you'll be surprised at how dominant of a frontman Weiland is in an arena setting. He certainly takes this shit seriously, which is always appreciated by the paying customer.
Another thing is how different the songs are live as opposed to on the album. I really like the studio version of Illegal I, but I don't think it comes off as good live. Were as I skip Headspace, Superhuman & Big Machine on the cd, but played live they are much better imo.

I have seen them 4 times now and they seem to have gotten alot better each time. The last show was awesome and the band was really into it. Slash and Scott will keep you entertained....
