How would we go about starting a petition?? Maybe one of the moderators could start a petition thread and all the four thousand plus members at this site sign it and then mail the thread to Axl. Maybe Axl actually having words on paper from his real fans might make him decide to do something. I'm sure everyone here would have something interesting to say. So what do you guys think?

I don't think it will  inspire him to do anything more than what he's done already.  I personally believe that the hold up has more to do with legal issues than it has to do with Axl doing "nothing"

The "legal issues" excuse is a load of crap!! Axl started using this excuse 10 years ago and people believed it,so he still uses it. I don't believe it. Never did. I know alot of people have sued him over the years, but the lawsuits had nothing to do with Axl releasing CD. Do you guys actually believe that someone is suing him to stop the release of CD?

it's funny because sometimes I see board members figures and sometimes it's 4400+ and then one week later it's around 4300 Huh is there an "eraser" somewhere? hihi
I've never understood that point. Why some members "desapeared" from one week to another?

It's because I occasionally do some "cleaning", deleting accounts that haven't been used in years. Most of them are also accounts with no posts.

B) Why would a petition speed up the release?

And i'd love to see you find a quote where axl says the album is being held back by legal issues.

  Unfortunately, a petition would do no good.  I want this c.d. as much as anyone on this board, but a petition will only make you angrier when you get no reply.  Axl will release this when Axl is ready.  Some call it selfish, but I think it's pretty f'in cool!  I think we're all in for something pretty f'in special...and like many have said before me...something we didn't expect.  So cool,    peace
