I don't know how many of you guys remember this, but back in 1988 Axl said he wanted to release 5 albums in 2 years,including a solo album. Obviously that never happened so this new 2 or 3 album rumour is total bullshit. We are going to be lucky to get a 10 or 12 track cd so quit dreaming about a stream of constant releases after Chinese Democracy comes out. It isn't gonna happen. In fact, maybe Axl should change the name of the cd to 'Swan Song'. Cause I think its the end of the line after CD.

not a month ago Sanctuary stated Axl had recently recorded dozens of songs.

Generally speaking, that means there are already 20~100 tracks done.

He made the comments about the '5 albums in 2 years' in a 1988 issue of either Hit Parader,Circus, or RIP magazine. I don't remember which one.
