Just wondering what the feeling is about the new songs out like, Madagascar, Chinese democracy, The Blues and Silk worms. I have only heard silk worms in concert, it sounded very cool. Can't wait to hear the finished version.
Most people at the show I was at lost interest when the new songs played, but I think the new stuff grows on you over time, it did for me.  Grin

The Blues kicks some serious ass. Silkworms..eh......Not so much. Madagascar is good too. The Blues is in my opinion the best New GN'R song played. Although didn't Axl say they weren't playing songs that would be on the album?? crying crying I NEED to hear The Blues studio version! drool

Did anyone hear that track that was said to be givin to the new york mets catcher, Mike Piazza?  I did, or I think I did...it sounded like some techno type song, it was axl's voice. I think it was called the rising.

eh, I am hoping chinese democracy will be alot better than what I have heard so far. I really didn't like rhiad or silk worms. And I found madagascar and Chinese democracy pretty good but a little too repetitive. The blues was OK.

Hmm i gotta be honest i ain't really thrilled with any of the new songs. Besides the Blues which is alright, i'm not really fussed with hearing these new songs on the album. Hopefully the others are much better.

The Blues, is my fav new GN'R track I love it, its sounds very queen like well the guitar solo does

Madagascar, is my 2nd fav track the keyboards are so cool at the start a lot of people I play it really love this track

Chinese Democracy, a nice agressive song I sent this song to some real metal heads you know the people that like Manson and the cant stop playing this one

Rhiad, I love this song shame there isn't a better version of this song the solo is kickass

Silkworms, I am not to keen on but I still think its alright

Oh My God, thats a fucking great track

"Silkworms" is the only song that really is bad. But I thought Axl said that it was Dizzy and that other keyboard guy that wrote the song. Sounds unlikely that Axl didn?t do anything on it, but still it is pretty bad.

"Rhiad and the Beduins" sounded Ok when I saw some clip from pukkelpop or something, but not that good.

"Oh my God" - wasn?t very good when I first heard it. Now I like it, I think it?s heavy and aggressive. It isn?t as good as the best old material but it?s way better than "My World", the electric version of "You?re crazy", "Perfect crime" and some others.

"Madagascar" I heard the first time on the VMA?s. I think it is a good song, but hopefully it will be even better and have some extra part on it if it?s going to be that long. (Earlier I thought it was great, but I?ve grown a bit tired of it lately)

"Chinese democracy" is a hardrocking, aggressive, good song.

"The Blues" is so good it could be on any of the old Guns n?Roses albums. Even though it wouldn?t have fit in on AFD.

Oh My God-Great Tune, love the ending

Oh my God --- Amazing, my favorite of the newbies

Madagascar ---- Great song, but feels a bit like something is missing

Rihad --- I like it too but I don't think is anything out of this world.

The blues --- I may be the only person in this board who doesn't like it that much, I mean it could be like any pop-rock song from any other band, it has nothing special.

Silk Worms --- I may be the only person in this board who thinks that this song could actually have the potential to be one of the best new songs. I can perfectly picture it like a prodigy song or something like that. I would love if they would make more songs like this, which are very aggresive and with a new sound which makes a great diference of what the old GNR would have done and what the new one can achieve.

It's said to be "IRS" and the song exists. But, M8, I haven't ever heard anyone have that. Maybe you got a fake one from the net? Can you upload that?

You?re not the only person.

Your taste?s similar to mine bar Riyadh bit. I?d swap Riyadh for Silkworm in your post. I see greater potential on that song. Blues is like how good Axl can do with an ordinary tune kinda like My Way.
Perhaps you?re more into band sounds than solos.

Silk Worms is the best new song to listen to LIVE.  Madagascar is one of the best GN'R songs EVER made without a doubt.
