When I saw the Celine Dion performance for the first time, I must have had a stroke.  I couldn't move or utter a sound for its entirety and eight minutes after. It's as if every critical sensor in my body fired all at once; i couldn't even utter a snide remark to my friends who were sitting next to me. It was sublimely bad and could be categorized as the Holy Grail for the cantankerous music fan;  a perfromance so hideous, it nulifies the entire catalog of achievement by said artist.

in the future, I will be looking for similiar examples from Phil Collins, Britney, Usher, and Beonyce.

I find that i'm far more powerful and effective when i can celebrate another's way, rather than to wish to own it.
