I think that would be sweet.  It would answer a lot of questions.  Was there ever any rumors of him writing a book in the past?

Because he realizes that if he started writing it now it would come out slightly after the army of mutated laser-koalas had enslaved human race around 3025?
Maybe he wants that the questions remain unanswered? I think it's pretty clear that Axl doesn't  want people to know him too well.

In 2000 Axl wrote a 10,000 word manifesto for Rolling Stone, but at the last mintue decided to not release it. I have no idea what that was about. I guess just talking about himself and the band.

I can sumarize Axl's life in less then a paragraph.

I was a hard-rocking drug addict in one of the best rock bands in the world. I feared sucess and therefor my band left me. Now i am trying to write an album but i suffer from a sever case of writer;s block.

I'm kidding so don't start bitching at me.

Agreed. I love the mystery that Axl always has with him.

Although I do think it would be a really fascinating read.
