If you could sing the song for us, record it as an MP3 file, then post it here. That would be helpful

Axl and Meatloaf!?!  no

Actually, I always thought "Breakdown" sounded like a jim steinman penned "meatloaf-style" song.

And of course, Axl provided backup vocals on Pink's recent  cover of the Bonnie Tyler/Meatloaf song "Total Eclipse of the Heart".  hihi

So of course, Axl and Mr. Loaf are old friends.

Probably somebody who thinks it's Axl and then spread the song on those filesharing networks.

Just like "Cats In The Cradle" and other non-GN'R tracks getting labeled as GN'R or even "Chinese Democracy" tracks.

I seen that on Soulseek  hihi

Cats in the Cradle was covered by Ugly Kid Joe, the supposed anti-thesis of Pretty Boy Floyd  hihi I'm not sure whether I liked them or not though

me sing???, well some people dont dance...i dont sing  Grin just to embaracing (sory its late here i didn't think i was talking abou the file i download) I can put the lyrics tomorrow if it helps. i got it from Limewire, and never herd about a duet from them i was hopping some of you did. Not my favorite type of music, musical shows i mean, but it is great and quiet humuristic, and if its a fake it's a good one.

Some one told me (back in the early 90's) that the song In The Meantime by Spacehog was sung by Axl. So I had to prove them wrong by calling the radio station. So I know what you mean about being a fool I mean being fooled.

If it's a song from Jesus Christ Superstar it is most likely being sung by Sebastian Bach and confused as being Axl.  Sebastian did the show on Broadway for a while a couple years back.

Did you like it?  Great song!

Here's a little of it, better if you learn the dances move.

Herod
Jesus, I am overjoyed
To meet you face to face
You've been getting quite a name
All around the place
Healing cripples
Raising from the dead
Now I understand you're God
At least that's what you've said

So you are the Christ
You're the great Jesus Christ
Prove to me that you're divine
Change my water into wine
That's all you need do
Then I'll know it's all true
C'mon King of the Jews

Jesus you just won't believe
The hit you've made around here
You are all we talk about
You're the wonder of the year
Oh what a pity
If it's all a lie
Still I'm sure
That you can rock the cynics if you try

That's the part where you kind of stop and think about Axl.  There's more but catch the movie.

Jesus Superstar - King Herod?? hmmmmm...   This past Summer I heard a song that really sounded like Meat Loaf. There was another singer on the song and I wasn't quite sure who it really was so I asked and she said it was Axl. It was a pretty cool song but I can't remember what she said the title was. Huh

Axl and meatloaf do not sing in that song. Neither does Sebastian Bach in the version that you can download in most of peer 2 peer networks. Sebastian Bach, when he starred in J.Superstar, did the role of Jesus.

The version is the cast version of the musical, one of the greatest musicals of all time by the way.
