Does Axl feel like he has a "mission"?

Have you already though about it? Have you already wondered that Axl thinks he has a kind of "mission" with Chinese Democracy? Or do you think he has a mission with that album? In the BTM on VH1, at the end, a guy said "....but he has waited so long to make gnr relevant that it may be impossible to achieve..." or something like that. I don't know if this is the exact quote.
What do you think? maybe that could explain the pressure he thinks he has on his mind. It's pretty complicated because we are not in his mind. But that could explain why we it takes so long.

 Well, i hope Axl dont have a goal to be the BIGGEST in the music world, and make music on that concideration
 Why should he?
 I hope he only consentrate on making good music, and have fun! Thats what making music is about!

Who knows? I have no idea what Axl thinks and i can't even make a guess cause all i have to go on is conjecture and shady unreliable internet news.  For all i know Axl could be dead in his bathtub.  The only one who really knows what up is the man himself.
