Carry does WTTJ for a vid and steven, duff and slash ( I think its those three) are on the dock for a few seconds.
 I dont think Axl is in the movie eventho i have heard people say he is.

At Jim Carrey's funeral, the whole band is there and then later there is the harpoon scene on the dock.

The part that Jim Carey played in this movie was originally written for Axl hence the use of WTTJ during the video shoot in the meat locker.  Staying true to form, Axl backed out and the part had to be recast.

Axl has mentioned wanting to make movies in the past but nothing has every came of it.

no, none of the gn'r guys do. it's just a dirty harry (clint eastwood) flick and the scene on the dock is actually a scene for a flick inside the flick.

It's Duff, Izzy, and Slash on the dock.  Steven said that he was sick that day, otherwise he would've been in that scene.

As others have mentioned, all five GNR members are briefly visible in the funeral scene.  Look fast and you will see Axl and Steven.

Jim Carey performing WTTJ was so wrong! It made me cringe.

The harpoon scene was the best thing about this film, otherwise it was shite.

I remember an interview with one of the band talking about when they met Clint and he gave them the cold shoulder.
