during the game ABC played the "Slither" intro as they were givin a halftime preview or something to that effect, and as soon as it got back to the game the Patriots were blasting "welcome to the jungle"

do u think any VR songs will ever be stadium songs that are played durin ballgames? which ones so far do u feel would work good in that enviroment?

I was at a game in Cincinatti over the weekend and they played the intro to STB over the loud speakers all the time. It was kind of cool as it gets the crowd pumped with the sirens and all.

They play WTTJ almost every punt return.

I noticed the VR / GNR songs back to back last night.

I can totally see some VR stuff making it into sports events to pump up the game.

I noticed this, too.  "Welcome to the Jungle" is played constantly at Gillette.  It'll never get old.  Did any of you see Lenny Kravitz on the pre-game?  Man, that guy knows how to put on a show.  Best part of the night, however, was the Patriots winning 27-24!  What a way to kick off yet another Super Bowl-bound season!

Hey, Welcome to the Jungle is played weekly in almost all stadiums. I always hear it too.

I think that Headspace would be a good stadium song... no joke.

Headspace is great. I wish they would of remixed it.

Funny how songs become stadium anthems. I think if you set out to write a "stadium anthem" its not gonna happen. Just ask Dave Mustane about Crush `em. How often you hear that?

Time will tell. Right now, I can't think of any VR song to be used to pump up the crowd. Maybe STB, but not in the same league as Jungle.

Queen are great but i never hardly hear that anymore

WTTJ is not only played at football games, the Boston Celtics have adopted it pretty much as their theme song as they now call the fleet center the Jungle

WTTJ right now is the most played song at sporting events and those are just the facts!

Awhile back I remeber reading that CD might have a couple of anthem type songs.
