There was an article where he talked about every tune that he had recrded with Megadeth. Mentioned Mike Clink and Slash..

FIVE MAGICS
I'm quite pleased with the main solo in the middle of this tune. The rhythm underneath the solo is in some crazy time signature and I managed to do something with the solo that makes the whole section sound a little less progressive and a little more eerily aggressive. I was having a hard time nailing the fast thrashy pedaling rhythm part towards the end, so Clink gave me one of Slash's guitar picks that was lying around and then I nailed the part in one take. Magic!

these songs were never ever released on anything or to anybody.  they were kept between slash and mustaine as far as i know.  i think the reason they even jammed was because mustaine was looking for guitar players at the time.  not sure if it was really an audition or not.

you know, im on the official megadeth forum and mustaine is back in action with a new megadeth lineup which includes nick menza(the drummer from rust in peace, countdown to extiction, etc.) and he posts on the boards very very frequently and answers questions and responds to threads.  he has his own section where he says what hes up to and all that good stuff.

anyway, i am going to start a thread about that to get some clarification on why they jammed and if it will ever be realeased and who has it.  hopefully mustaine replies.
