November rain video question

 This may have been talked about before, sorry if it has, but in making of Estranged, Axl mentions he almost bought November Rain video from the band, which would have left him flat broke, and he would have put it in a vault/storage, so no one would have ever seen it. Why? Did it have to do with Stephanie Seymore for some reason?

I think Estranged was filmed right after him and Stephanie broke up, so, he was pissed and probably wanted to do everything possible to get away from her.  I could be wrong though

I think it`s the same that It`s So Easy and Erin Everly, but this time Axl couldn`t get what he wanted.
