Check this article out. There were a couple things that alerted me. One is a mention of Axl playing the album at a deserted airfield. Anyone heard this before?
Another was that they had a rather thorough list of song titles that makes it seem as if they've heard the album before. I don't remember all those titles in the Rolling Stone article a few years back. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, here ya go.

We?ve heard stories like this it before, so I wouldn?t hold your breath, but new reports claim that the new highly anticipated Guns N Roses album ?Chinese Democracy? is due for release in November this year.
The new record from Guns N Roses ? who can only claim one member from the band?s original line up, frontman Axl Rose ? has taken seven years to complete and reportedly cost $13 million to record so far.
In fact the ?Chinese Democracy? album has suffered so many aborted release dates that its contents have almost passed into legend. Stories claim that Rose himself has played the album outside the recording studio only twice, once in an LA strip joint and once on a deserted airfield.
However, according to VH1's GNR documentary ?Behind The Music: Guns N' Roses? the new record will be hitting shops sometime in November this year through Geffen Records.
The album has been recorded by Rose and an undefined collection of musicians, some taken from the live band the singer took on the road for Guns N' Roses aborted world tour in 2002. They include Dizzy Reed (Keyboards, programming), Tommy Stinson (Bass), Robin Finck (Lead guitar), Richard Fortus (Rhythm guitar), Brian ?Brain? Mantia (Drums), Chris Pitman (Keyboardist, Special Effects) and recently departed lead guitarist Buckethead.
Songs rumoured to appear on the new record include ?Cock-A-Roach Soup?, ?This I Love?, ?Suckerpunched?, ?No Love Remains?, ?Friend Or Foe?, ?Zip It?, ?Something Always?, ?Hearts Always Get Killed?, ?This Life?, ?Closing In On You?, ?Catcher In The Rye?, ?IRS?, ?Strange Disease?, ?Never Had It?, ?Today, Tomorrow, Forever? and our personal favourite ?TWAT?.
