Chinese Democracy to be released 11/30/04

Metal fanzine, Little Hammer, has revealed that Axl Rose is planning to release to his infamous opus, Chinese Democracy, by the last week of November 2004.

"Rose, the last remaining member of 80's rockers Guns n'roses, is being taken to court in August by ex-members, Slash and Duff, over the controlling rights of old Guns n'roses material. Further to the recent cancellation of a planned 2004 European tour, Rose revealed to a concert organiser that he will move forward with 'Chinese Democracy' after this, and all other legal activity has been dealt with..."

The definition of Few:  Who gives a fuck?  If someone actually believed Axl would give a release date in a few months then you're pretty gullable.  If you were Axl, what the hell would you say in a press release about Buckethead quitting the band?  You wouldn't say, "The release date for Chinese Democracy will be announced in two years," because then people would be extra mad on top of Bucket leaving.  The "few months" thing was just to ease the tension and frustration.

Axl will want to play huge festivals and a strong US tour to promote CD before it comes out. He wants to build up enough publicity on it. He isnt just gonna release it without a huge tour first

Remember the 2002 tour was announced end of September, started November and was supposed to go into January. That's less than 4 months (cut down to three with it's cancellation of course).

What I'm saying is November is 5 months away. 5 months is a long time and a lot can happen.

As for Axl bullshitting about the few months thing, I don't think he would do that. He's put his money where his mouth is pretty publicly with that press release and I think he wouldn't do that unless he has some idea of when things are gonna get going. It was some off the cuff comment like "see you next summer" at a concert.

Maybe I'm just hoping, but one more bit of faith, if I'm gonna have it, might as well go on what he says rather than some of the rumours that fly around here.

We all know that Axl knows more about what's going on then the rest of us do.As we all know he's not a stupid person and I think that he will release something soon,I hope.Anyway,the word few doesn't mean 3.it can mean 8 or 9,who knows,not us,we don't know what he meant by saying a few months.

If the date is for lats week of November that means we would get a single and video at the end of october or beginning of NOvember. And a few weeks before that we would get a bigass press release that announces everything.....so if November is the month then October maybe September is the month we get the news and plans.....

When are people going to realize that you cannot hold Axl to anything. If Axl released a statement saying :

Recording is going swimmingly. As I said before, the departure of Buckethead really opened things up for some inovative recording. I will have a completed copy of Chinese Democracy in your hands on November 23rd. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed making it for you.

I wouldn't believe one word. That statment would make me think that Bucket was in the band, the haven't recorded anything, the album isn't called Chinese Democracy, there isn't a November 23rd (November goes 20, 21, 22, 24, 25) and the Sky is most definately not blue.

How can anyone think that he is going to release a statment about CD's release just because he said we'd hear in a gew months..............As far as we know Axl might only think he's been working on CD a few months.....something isn't right with that guy.

The problem is, is that time is very relative.

There is the New York Minute.

Anyway my point is, is that, Axl is on Axl time. We just need to try to figure out what that means.

This is a mathematical formula that needs to be decifered. I suck in math, but maybe one of you is really good at these kind of math problems.

Once we figure out the formula, and have our results, we will know when Chinese Democracy will be released.

Well, like I said before, Axl's statements always seem to be vague as to a release date but I still don't understand posts like this. Yes he's taken an age, yes he's vague, yes it's getting on my tits waiting, but when has he ever said anything definate in a press release and then it turned out to be bullshit?

I doubt things because of how long it's taken, and Axl's seemingly weird behaviour, not on his past record of press releases which never came true. This being because there hasn't been any.
