This is my first time to see a high quality live performance of VR other then the Letterman one.  The two videos currently available are Sucker Train Blues and Slither.  I must say, they are AWESOME!!!!  I love the live versions of both these songs.  This band is truly special live.  Check out both videos.  The guitar playing in Slither, which is over 7 minutes, is truly awesome.  I was left in awe after the slither video.  STB is a good performance too.  Check them out if you get a chance.  I can't wait for the Rolling Rock Town Fair, that will be my first chance to see them in person.  Scroll down the page to the video section.  Didn't know if someone else posted these yet.

Scott sounds sick.  He sounds congested.  But still pretty cool.  Personally, I think Scott was perfect besides Axl. peace

The Slither video from the KROQ Weenie Roast was awesome.  Thanks for posting where to find it!

Sucker Train Blues was absoultely pitiful. The solo was terrible. It sounded like a bad cover of the actual song. Slither was a bit better, but Scott was off. I'm guessing a bad day for VR.

Even on the bad quality bootlegs I've heard, it's better.

First off, I like Suckertrain Blues, I think Its a great song.  I dont think this live performance was that great though.

What I really dont like is this "underground rocker persona" he seems to portrait on stage.  Its too much of an act.  "Motherfuckin Los Angeles"  That was pretty bad.  And the whole biker thing with the hat, pretty lame.

In one of the interviews I heard on the web, Scott was talking about how the cool LA underground bands are all dressing like GnR did back when they were underground in 85-86 and that look is cool again.

Now hes coppin that look for himself but I dont think he pulls it off.

It was cool when AXL dressed like that back in the 80's but could you imagine if he tried to look like that now!!  Well same thing goes for scott.

OUT peace

I think that was from the KROQ interview where they did the acoustic set.

When I saw him live, I felt that Scott had a lot of stage presence and charisma to pull it off.  And he adds his own style to it, he doesnt just copycat it.  Maybe Scott doesnt have the same magic if you watch his video performances.

I liked their performance at the Weenie Roast.

Yeah, Im only going buy what I saw on the video.  I wouldnt give two shits if I was actually at the show.  Im hopeing to see them soon.

I was at the first GnR vegas show and I hate the bootleg, It sounds NOTHING like actually being there.

It's So Easy, Set Me Free and Slither were all awesome.  DIFTK's and STB's were good but the vocals werent mixed good, lead and back up.
