Real fans consider Van Halen with DLR at the helm. He in his day was a hell of a frontman and a singer. Their true fans loved the fast hard rock of the late 70's and early 80's with DLR. When people say VAN HAGAR they are referring to the early nineties when with Sammy Hagar at the helm they wrote more slower ballad songs.  Just because Sammy didnt replace a Van Halen doesnt mean anything, Calling it Van Hagar refers to the late era of VH when all they did was their ballads and they lost their hard rock appeal.  

So screw Van Hagar. Aftewr all the Shit the Van Halen boys gave to Sammy, he shouldnt of ever returned to the line-up its ovious they wanted to rake in big $$$$ for a reunion tour.  Shame on you Sammy and shame on you VH.
