Some people just don't know how to ride a bike

« on: April 19, 2004, 06:11:06 AM »

i've been playing for 6 months now, and i need some different and constructive criticism. I decided to record my playing (hahah though the sound recorder in windows with my amp next to the mic hahah im so cheap  Grin).

Now, im sure you all know the song, this is my improvised on the spot solo for it. I want you to criticize the hell out of it, tell me all the problems.....tell me what makes it shit etc. Tell me what i should do instead etc. And please don't say "just look at the tab".....thats besides the point. (I chose this song cuz i have a strong idea of the rhythm guitar in my head.......makes it easier to improvise)

I posted it in here today gone to files under mp3's other, file name is hotel solo. Plz plz plz take a look.

and the aim of this.......to take ur criticism and make me a better guitarist.

oh yeah and for u lazy ones i'll try and post a direct link
 ok

PS: and this is definetly not my best performance, thats for sure. But the way i see it, your only as good as ur last performance....so yeah. Cry

im trying to make a direct link, but i don't have a website, and making one is proving really troublesome. I have no idea how to make one. And all the yahoo geocities etc type web builders wont let me upload files to a website. doh!
