Book that Axl read before lose you illusion

I looked through the Dead Horse and didnt see anything about this, but I may be wrong.


My boyfriend is a big GnR fan (i hope he doesnt read this) and he was telling me about a book that Axl read that was a big inspiration for several videos.  I cant for the life of remember what the name of it was or find out online and I was wanting to get  it for him for his birthday.

could someone please help me out or suggest other possible gifts?

Might be a book called "The Language of Fear" by Del James. I believe Del is/was a friend of Axl's. This book contains short novels and stuff, and apparently one novel called "Without You" inspired the November Rain video. Dunno about other videos.

It might be quite hard to find this book now though :/

There is an auction on ebay right now for THE LANGUAGE OF FEAR, I attempted to email it to you. I bought my copy from this same seller last fall and the book was in great condition.  It is a n excellent book, Del James is a modern day Charles Dickens.  There is even a forward by Axl.
