And it's still a major city in hell.  Those poor people.  Looks like it has expanded to the north, burning up the coast and north east.  Axl and Duff look fine.  Not really sure where Slash is but he's the closest.

Looks like a good time to sell and get out of there.  Insurance is going to be unaffordable after this.  Mother nature is turning that area into a desert anyway, no water for you.

No but wow, nice grove, I'd take that on a drive somewhere, maybe the northwest through the rockies or just down the road somewhere.   Cheesy

hihi  That was followed by Terrapin Station, maybe just my playlist but I'm lost in my thoughts on that drive.

I think booking the band into the UK's largest stadium, when the demand clearly isn't there, is a huge faux pas on the part of the promoter.

Had a look at Ticketmaster, the sales aren't that bad. The upper tier still have quite a few seats available yes, but this isn't anything out of the ordinary. At this point we must accept that GN'R won't sell out in hours, but months rather. Still good chances of a sold-out show.

Ticket sales in the UK are shockingly poor.

It's about time the band pulled their finger out and did some actual promotion.

Still plenty of time for the tickets to sell.

Although Villa Park isn't well known for hosting concerts - and there were a few complaints about the Foo Fighters gig there in 2024.
So I thought that was a strange one.

And Wembley seems to be almost universally unpopular with everyone I've spoken to who's been there.

Oasis just sold out 7 nights at Wembley instantly with nothing but a photograph.  Not to mention 40 other stadium shows around the world. How will they do after 9 years of consistent touring?  Probably not THIS well, although I’d bet they can sell out Wembley once a month in perpetuity.

It’s supply and demand.  You can’t expect GNR to put up 2016 numbers in 2025, anyone who had any interest in seeing them has seen them by now, a lot  of them multiple times.

I was flooded with people asking me to go to the shows in 16 and 17, now I pretty much go solo because there is less interest.  The people I know still love GNR but don’t want to spend the money to see them again. It’s not a knock on the band, the same is true for any band.

Totally agreed. It's a mass event in Bulgaria and lots of people are asking me for the show as they know I've seen them in the past 9 years multiple times in multiple cities. My friends haven't, so even if they are not huge GN'R and even not rock fans they will see them and the gig will be full. Lots of advertisment going on as well. My point is that it's normal not to have the same hype in London, Munich and the places where the band have played multiple times in the past decade or so. Georgia, Turkey, Lithuania, Serbia, Bulgaria are a whole different story, I guess.

We're heading over to Munich from Aberdeen and it isn't actually that much more expensive and it's more of an event to see GNR in a different country rather than the same old cities.
