Guitarist for the newly reformed Guns N' Roses, Buckethead took his name from the KFC bucket he wears like a crown. While laying down GN'R tracks in the studio, he performs in a chicken coop - because he claims to have been raised by chickens. Sounds reasonable. Maybe when he set up the "beach" in his recording studio for Smile to get a a more beach-like sound for the beach boys. Buts its nice to see Buckethead made the list, at least we're getting publicity. The story goes that backstage before the show Moon's friend gave him a bottle of horse tranquilizers, telling him to take half of one, when Moon responded, "Half? I'm Keith Moon!" and took two whole pills. Moon passed out a few songs into the set and the band turned to the audience asking if anyone knew how to play drums. They picked Halpin and he filled in for the rest of the show. |
