How many of you would actually prefer the old gnr lineup get back together with no chinese democracy... as opposed to the new line up putting out CD

I personally want to hear what the new guys come up with and would prefer that over the old line up

OLD LINEUP! any day of the week.

Thats the one for me!!!! Both release an album then all break up and Scott Weiland can get the current GNR band and Axl can get the original line up back..everyones happy.

What about a new CD 2007 with old line up (20 years since AFD)

If the AFD line-up got back together they would be a hollow shell of there former glory.

Comparisons cant be made between the current band and the old band - but if the old guys got together comparisons would be made and they wouldn't be good.

I'll take the new band and vr thank you very much.

You know it would be nice to have the old line-up back. But i really do like this new line-up and would be really curious to hear some of the new stuff that they have to offer. So i'd rather have the new line-up put out CD. : ok:

I'd rather see the original five -- Slash, Duff, Steven, Izzy, and Axl --  even if they never release another album.

I'd choose the old lineup in a heartbeat. The new one is talented, but they will never ever live up to the old one. They simply are not the same band and won't have the same chemistry and aura around them.

LOL, that would do just fine  :rofl:!! Scott with the current members and the real guns and roses would reunited.

The guys would be wondering what a hell happened, yesterday we got Axl and now we have Scott and totally new band that at first place wasn't even our idea.. :)

the original hands down. no one can fill thier shoes no matter the line up.

I loved the old line up, but that was over for me when they all left. This band was about loyality to one another. They would have never survived other wise. when that ended so did old gnr for me. So its all about the new line up. They are a great group of guys. I love NIN and have been totally thrilled about Robin being in gnr since I first heard he was a member.
Don't get me wrong. I wish the former members the best, but I never want to see the them on stage as gnr again!!

Old lineup all the way.  My life's goal is to see the old lineup live.  If they'd get back together I'd forget about Chinese Democracy in a matter of minutes.

Granted there was drama in the old band...but they did manage to put out some toe tapping records...this new band is all drama and absolutely no official product whatsoever...so yeah, the old band...just glad I got to see the old band...at least I have memories and albums and videos to relive by...

I personally don't like what Axl is doing by still using the guns n roses label, but I wouldn't want the old lineup back together either...things are still bad between some band members (especially Axl and Slash) and the whole thing would be nothing but arguments and fighting...the guys don't want that and neither do the fans.
