Title: Hacks that work Post by: cineater on January 18, 2025, 06:27:36 PM I don't like window dressings. My double wide, full length windows, back door does great until the weather gets really cold. Then the cold just radiates off the glass. Next 3 days our temps really drop soo.... I used painters' tape and hung some curtains. :hihi: The room feels warmer already. :D

Love painter's tape. More a pain in the ass when painting if you ask me, just paint a straight line, but it has a lot of other uses. In the meantime, can't wait to take these curtains down. I of course used black out curtains and it's like living in a cave. They can come down tomorrow. Have to say it was light and fluffy almost to the point of falling apart. Fortunately I know people with chickens and I get free eggs. The girls are laying, guess the light triggered them.
