From my memory this is 4th attempt to play this gig since 2020 glasgow green cancelled due covid, 21 reskeduled allso binend due covid, moved to bellahouston for 22, axl ill, binned, so now 4th attempt .....hope its worth the 3 year wait - still memories of the 1st (again postponed) show secc in the 2006era nearly ending in a riot due la very late start lol. i reckon there may be something unique tonight to allow for all these cancelled shows......nb i havent posted on this site for a long time - good to see it still going strong, tonight my 11th guns gig going way back to 92 at Slane - the benchmark show!!!

Well tbh if I had to pick 1 year among the 4 years you mentioned, i would  pick 2023 hands down.

Dont worry Jarmo it will be rained out by 7pm and it will be mainly dry overhead for the show - perhaps a bit muddy underfoot though. Do we know if the glasto poor vocals from rocket queen onwards were the mic or axls voice struggling?

There were mic issues absolutely. But the vocals turned very poor after half way. So if u want an honest answer...both.
Please please please can they erase Absurd from...the earth. It's embarrassingly awful.

I spent 2 days in Glasgow a long time ago, and it rained for 2 days.  :hihi:

I liked it, first time I'd listened to it live, it was quirky

It was just an example of not playing to the audience. A Yesterday's, Don't Cry or dare I say it Wichita lineman (not my fave)would have fitted the bill much better at that kind of festival. You can say well ' that's GnR' all you want  but it just came off embarrassing and cringy, not quirky or edgy.
