Title: Re: Updates - Sept 11 @ Atlantic City, NJ Post by: sandman on September 13, 2021, 11:15:34 AM Awesome show saturday night! they killed it. Axl was on! he really sounded great. and slash just blew everyone away. for me, more than any other gnr show, it just felt like a 3-hour Slash Showcase. but the entire band was awesome. Duff is the definition of cool and his playing really stands out. Fortus has plenty of shining moments as well and brings the energy. Frank is pretty much perfect.
all of my friends loved it. the ones that had never seen them were almost in shock at how great it was. awesome venue. holds about 7,000. sound was great and there's not a bad seat in there. crowd was really into it. I was worried it would be a "stuffy" crowd or a bunch of casual fans that got tix comped or something, but that was not the case at all. I will just add that as always, live streams/youtube cannot capture the sound or the energy of this band (which isn't necessarily true for all bands). you have to be there live to fully appreciate their greatness. |
