Paradise City I have no idea what happened to my marginally effective windscreens but even someone breathing near my mics torpedoes the recording. So the mics are buried deep within my hoodie which might have flattened the sound a bit. I did find a nice socially distanced spot where I couldn't see the stage but had a speaker pointing right at me. Afraid to listen to MammothWVH because I got in just as they were going on (went to mainly observe to see if people were freaking out over vaxx rules but they aren't being enforced yet and someone gave me a ticket.) So I am recording from the top corner on internals while the muddy sound is bouncing off the concrete. When I found this spot I made a last minute decision to use the mics. Quality is just okay but we haven't seen anything from this leg yet. That said, as amazing as this band was back in the day, they have been hit and miss, mostly miss since after the first UYI leg in 1991. But I was actually surprised how good this was. Axl sounded great and the pacing for the first 100 mins to the blues jam was impeccable. It made the lag during the third part of the set a bit more tolerable. Torrents are such a pain, I mostly post stuff at the blog. Feel free to grab anything and post anywhere with all credit going to performers.
