Not because of the pandemic but because of the ecomic issues. All these lockdowns are a catastrophy for many.
Title: Re: new show/ festival headline Post by: jarmo on November 05, 2020, 05:00:55 AM GN'R actually announced this date already in August as part of the 2021 European tour.
Let's hope things are better by then. /jarmo Title: Re: new show/ festival headline Post by: reayj2003 on November 05, 2020, 02:24:12 PM So hope they can get back on the road next year. Bet this is a nice festival.
I really enjoyed seeing them in Gothenburg in 2018. Sweden has a great vibe. Not because of the pandemic but because of the ecomic issues. All these lockdowns are a catastrophy for many. Keep your politics out of my GNR. Politics? Are u on drugs? If i have no money for the tickets i won't buy them, simple as that... Actually sweden never had a lockdown so the economy keep going and maybe they won't have that problem. But many other countries are suffering, so I don't see a large public coming to see all these shows (and the fear of the pandemic won't be over too). Maybe I'm wrong, but for a manager it's a big bet. Title: Re: new show/ festival headline Post by: jarmo on November 06, 2020, 07:43:32 AM True. Some will have less money to spend. On the other hand, others will be more inclined to go to a show because they haven't been able to since 2019....

Not because of the pandemic but because of the ecomic issues. All these lockdowns are a catastrophy for many. Keep your politics out of my GNR. If you don't want politics then GNR are very much not the band for you, as some of their past lyrics and their current comments clearly show. You want politics out of 'your' GNR? Better have a word with the band themselves, especially Axl. Title: Re: new show/ festival headline Post by: pilferk on November 09, 2020, 01:39:10 PM Im afraid 2021 looks bad right now, but lets hope things change until spring By late spring/early summer, there should be hundreds and hundreds of millions of doses of vaccine out there. IDK if that will be "in time" for shows to take place next summer, but there's a chance. 90% effectiveness rate, based on early numbers, with two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. We'll see how Moderno and J&J's efforts pan out within the next few weeks, and we should get more analysis from the Pfizer data around that same time (late November, I think, is the current target). Title: Re: new show/ festival headline Post by: rizzo160 on November 10, 2020, 08:54:16 PM I think with the good news about the vaccine that the second half of 2021 looks good for touring
Title: Re: new show/ festival headline Post by: draguns on November 10, 2020, 10:24:44 PM Hopefully there will be good news. I HATE needles, but if there is a vaccine I'll be taking it so that I can enjoy seeing GNR at MetLife Stadium in August.
