I can't believe songs like I.R.S, Sorry and Riad are still around and "If the World" is gone.

It's all subjective I suppose, personally I think I.R.S. is far superior.

NOOOOO!!! I didn't even have a chance to vote for If The World. By a mile, the most underrated CD track. Its sounds like a badass '70s movie theme. Infinitely better than CD, Riad, Shackler, Prostitute and Catcher.

Besides, there are differences. The intro is totally different, where the 2002 version is more "in your face" with the drums and full-on electric guitars. Synth effects during the song has been stripped away in the final version.

Well no, you wouldn't say a live version is a different song because it's not produced the same. But regardless, every song on the album has the same production. So isolating one song based on the production doesn't make sense.

I didn't isolate it based on the production, but the superior 2002 differences I mentioned earlier.

I still don't agree with your sense of production though. Remember that the songs on CD wasn't recorded in one single session, but rather 13 different studios. Every song doesn't necessarily have the exact same production. I can point out specifics like the EQ on Axl's voice on SOD, it's a tad too much on the high end of the frequency spectrum for my taste - borderline piercing.

"Prostitute" is my favorite on this album as well.... though I seriously had to read over the last page to figure out what the hell happened.

Seriously guys, if we do a "Best of" round (and I hope we do), we're gonna have to do a better job of paying attention to prior posts and getting our math straight.  Just one error obviously causes a severe ripple effect.
