I think I found this site in early 1997. The internet, not to mention my own life, have changed a lot since then but I still consider this one of the true gems of the web. It was so fun to check in here during the early reunion shows. Thank you Jarmo for your great work. And thanks to the mods for keeping it classy :beer:

WOW, I can't believe it's been that long.

I remember finding this site in 1996 while I was a freshman in college. Prior to that I had kicked around the 'early' internet on sites like 'The Perils of Rock N Roll Decadence' (which was an off shoot of Jeff's Mailing List)... but mainly was getting my 'news' from Hit Parader and Circus Magazine. This site quickly grew into a place I checked daily waiting for something to happen during those 'dark years'.

When the site relaunched in 2002 into what we see today and Axl's new take on the bad started coming together before our eyes, I never would have guessed that we would be in the middle of a two year long tour with Axl, Slash, and Duff 17 years later. I've always looked into other sites (including gnronline.com... which was interesting to say the least), but this is the one I always come back to and consider home in the GnR community.

Thanks Jarmo and everyone else over the years who has made this site what it is.

huh, I remember the site from about 98 or so, it was at hem.passagen.se. damn that's SUCH A long time ago! :o

Think it must have been about 99 I found this place. Had no access to the internet before then! Used to love reading it, but never posted, as I thought posting on internet forums was "a bit too risky" back then! haha!

Brought me a lot of enjoyment over the years, and kept me in touch with people when I know no-one in real life who really gives a damn about them.
