I used to trade (and sell ;)) bootleg VHS from 1995-1999 and had my own webpage and everything. I filmed a few shows myself as well. I gave my friend my entire collection like 8 years ago and he digitized everything and put them on YouTube.

I still prefer to sit in my soft leather chair, have some cold beers, and watch a DVD on my 4K HD TV than sit at a computer screen and watch You tube vids. Just me. I guess this is just for the sake of trading and keeping the sources (authorings) clear - of course HD stuff has much better quality. Why would you watch compressed crap on YouTube in 2017, when you can trade dvdr's/bluray's over high-speed internet and watch them on your HDTV ? |
