Title: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Post by: Spirit on March 15, 2017, 04:51:41 PM What if they decided on "finishing the concert they once started"?
Meaning, playing the same songs as the night of the riot, and then completing the concert with the remaining songs on their setlist. They didn't really use a setlist during that period, but they could fill in songs they played regularly at the time (meaning the concerts they did right before and after the riot show). It could look like something like this: 1. Perfect Crime 2. Mr. Brownstone 3. Live And Let Die 4. Dust N' Bones 5. You Could Be Mine 6. Patience (w/ I Was Only Joking intro) 7. Double Talkin' Jive 8. November Rain 9. Welcome To The Jungle 10. Civil War 11. 14 Years 12. Godfather Theme 13. Rocket Queen --- The following is a prediction of what it could've been --- 14. Sweet Child O' Mine 15. Bad Obsession 16. It's So Easy 17. Right Next Door To Hell 18. Knockin' On Heaven's Door (w/ Only Women Bleed intro) 19. Nightrain 20. Estranged 21. Paradise City Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? I think that's well doable. It's happened in sports when the weather or some other unforeseen incident distrupted the event. Typically it's continued in about 24 hours. But what difference does it make if it's after around 24 years. Just bring your original ticket or some other proof of purchase like an email confirmation :peace: Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Sounds like an urban legend but surely no one could make that up ;D It would be cool to know how many people from the previous gig were also there. If it was anywhere near then quite a few probably. Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Post by: Slashrose on March 16, 2017, 10:23:43 AM I think we'll have Axl's long apology, right? Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Only God knows how this goes around Europe. There will be curfews but how they are reacted upon. Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? It's totally true! Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Post by: allwaystired on March 17, 2017, 11:03:13 AM England is crazy for curfews- especially at outdoor shows. It's pretty tiresome to be honest, the total lack of any flexibility whatsoever.
Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Post by: Spirit on March 17, 2017, 11:34:15 AM Going by their record this past year, curfews shouldn't be an issue for Guns. They'll adjust accordingly.
Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Post by: D-GenerationX on March 17, 2017, 01:11:51 PM I think we'll have Axl's long apology, right? I imagine he'll say something. When he did the UCAP show here in Philly in 2012, we got a pretty decent apology. And even this past July at Lincoln Financial Field, he thanked us all for coming out, but added "though I would understand if you didn't, and I was the man guy with that." It was a nice touch, I thought. Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Post by: LIGuns on March 18, 2017, 07:51:38 AM Not s. If deal.. Play the show as any other...But it would make good press an apology a "let's see if we can finish RQ this time"..

They'll adjust accordingly. Exactly. Japan shows started at 7pm or something because of whatever local laws. But really there should be some flexibility anywhere. What is there to gain if some really big for real rock band goes 10mins over? It would not mean that the local band next week would do the same or any disrespect towards some in power. If the local residents complain about something they will do that in cold november rain anyway. Title: Re: A cool idea for the St. Louis concert? Post by: bolton on March 18, 2017, 05:50:32 PM It will be cool, find a man who taped show and was atacked by Axl...
And them kicks his ass |
