I first heard of and saw the internet in action in 1995 and got it home through my dad's work in 1996. Had I known about this site :rant:

Even with AltaVista in use it was hard to think of anything to search for and the band wasn't very active at the time :hihi:

I like it here.  Think the place was essential this past year.  Trying to maximize the same level enjoyment at the other boards sure looked like it would have been a fool's errand.

Thank you for the kind words but 100% of the credit goes to Jarmo for making this site n' forum a place where as a Guns N' Roses fan I appreciate the high quality and high standards that Jarmo has established here for the past 20 years.  For me as a GNR fan, I truly enjoy every aspect of everything that Jarmo gives us here especially providing us fans with this platform to share and participate.

Kinda. I knew something from the lyrics of the songs already, but never really had any lessons. What really made me learn was when I started reading a lot of those articles Jarmo posted back in late 90s. I tried to write some posts here and then it all went downhill after that. ;)

I bet jarmo couldn't have imagined that he would be having such a big impact on someones life by starting up the site. Now you're one of the key figures that make the site what it is, typing away in english everyday.. very cool!

I think I told him about it here at some point. Indeed it had a big impact, my work depends on it. And I wouldnt be able to get to know places like Japan, China, US, Czech Republic.. :)
