I read in another show thread that there was a merch tent that opened outside the show, maybe even a bit early?

Does anyone know if this will be the case for the Seattle show (maybe it's every show, I dunno)?

Any info would help. If they're open early, I'm thinking about sneaking down early, and grabbing my merch and stashing it back at home before the show. Anyway! Stoked!

Anyone one else around here gonna attend? I've got a small group. Meet for a  if you're down!

The tent outside did open up really early for the shows I went to. That was my exact game plan. Before tailgating I walked over. There was a tent and a trailer selling merchandise.

The GNR facebook page also referenced a 6:30pm start time tonight.   It's probably because there's two opening bands.   Seattle probably has an 11pm noise curfew like everywhere else.  They probably had to up the start time to fit in the extra band?  If GnR plays for over 2 hours, then there's not enough time for two opening bands if they start at 7:30.

Almost every retelling of the hell tour story (a tragi-comically doomed 'tour' north from LA culminating in Seattle for a show they didn't get paid for) is that it made the band and cemented their bond and resolve to conquer everything in front of them.

I wonder if Axl has locked in to the AC/DC mindset of well oiled, well scripted massive rock shows. I gotta think that has been a huge influence on him which has spilled over in to this tour. At my age and their ages, I think that is a good thing....consistency of performance at the highest level. As The Stones influenced the UYI tour, I think AC/DC has "helped" influence this tour. It is really fuckin awesome to watch.

Yea, I guess. I stopped expecting anything "new" a while back. Every time I hear someone say "I feel this is gonna be a special show" I know they're on their way to be let down lol. Altho I think LA might get something. But that's about it...

It says 44k people!!! Niceeeeee. Even if tix prices were drop it's still the same. Alot of bands cant sell out 2000 seat theaters/clubs at $30 GA! Man, this is better then I expected this tour to be.. To be honest! Wow. Just fkn wow!!!! Btw-- the number of people is not what I'm excited about.. It's that I still can't believe this is happening! In HS, mid-late 90s, i was basically the only teen wearing GNR shirts. We as hard core fans been thru alot... Wish I had a babysitter/money to go to the LA shows. But oh well. Great show last night...

Missed out on the lithograph because the lineup was huge and was making zero progress.  Had to decide between the lithograph or Alice In Chains.  Once AiC started I abandoned the line and went into the show.

It was a really good show.  They must of sold a lot of last minute tickets because it looked alot fuller than I was expecting (there were oodles of tickets left on TM when I checked the other day).

Seattle was amazing.

Also, the weather was perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. Not humid, just perfect...

I just got back into Canada

Seattle durring the months of July and August is just about as beautiful as it can get.     Nothing better than having a pop out in the sun right on the water with a warm breeze comming in.

The band put on a really solid show.
