AT&T is one of my favorite MLB parks. I can not wait to see some scopes from tonight.  Not a bad seat in the house.

Do they sound check the entire show? I don't think they do right... So how and why do they decide on which songs to sound check?

No, they don't soundcheck the whole show. The probably choose the songs based on equipment changes and if the artist has any particular concern about how a certain effect will sound.

The merch people were selling the lithographs out the back door before they officially opened.  People were buying like 10 at a time.

Wow who would've ever guessed GNR would start at 8pm! I assume there's a very strict curfew tonight though.

GNR has been awesome with the start times. Before this tour the earliest I've seen GNR take the stage was 11:04 and the latest was 12:30AM lol

They actually went on at 10pm in Dallas in 2011 lol.

Yes the only questionable one was Dallas, starting 35 minutes late. But I guess we don't know what happened there.

I really think they may have been stuck in traffic. From where we were sitting we could see backstage and they pulled up to the stage right in their limo, not the usual cart that we've seen in backstage video.

Friend of mine is there says its pretty much sold out and awesome

The quality of the periscopes has been awesome!!!  (too bad my sucky computer keeps crapping out during the shows.  stupid spinning pinwheel of death!!!)

Last night was an amazing experience.  Unusually cold for a summer show, and an unusually early start time, but the band did us all proud.

I will never forget that experience last night.

What! A! NIGHT! Every GNR show I've been to is special in its own way, but this one was particularly excellent. The vibe from the band and crowd alike is what really made it, I think (since how fucking good they sound should be a given  :-*) and it was just awesome that no matter where you were or where you looked, everyone was completely losing their shit, myself included! I  could go on and on about pretty much every song, but I'm gonna limit it to saying that I never expected to hear Coma live, so that was a mindblower if there ever was one, especially since Axl came over to the side of the pit I was in a few times during it.  :o

I also managed to pick up a Dirty Harry poster (201/300!) and accompanying shirts for me and my brother, which was truly just the icing on a magical night.

Was a great show. I couldn't get any connection to periscope. nobody around me could get any signal either. So happy I made the trip.
