Is there any specific reason they booked this show on a Sunday night?  I know the original was for the Saturday   Then when that sold out they announced the

Wouldn't they money of been booking this show for the Friday though?  Seems a lot more people could of made it on the Friday. Or at least I would of gotten to read a bunch more excuses from people not being able to make it.  Haha

Not enough time between wednesdays show in foxboro and a friday show. That woukd be a tough turnaround.

Plus, you dont want to piss off the fans who want "the first show".

They did a bounce back for foxboro, too. Its a good idea to entice folks who went to the first show to come back out. And it sells more tickets which, if you are already making a profit, just pads the number, discount or not.

Looking at the map around noon, seemed like the place was filling up nice. Well over half, i think. Gonna be another well attended show. Would't surprise me if they drew 90k between the two shows.....freaking unreal numbers.

I would attend the show tonight, but I have work in the morning.

I don't know how to compare... I felt it had more feeling/passion, with longer bends througout the solo. It still had some "noodling", but it felt more tasteful IMO.

EAST RUTHERFORD ? At least 30 people were arrested Saturday night during a Guns N? Roses concert at MetLife Stadium, including one woman who was taken into custody for assaulting a police officer, NJ State Police said.

Kimberly Goodman, 30, of Mahwah, was arrested during the event and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, according to Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams, spokesperson for the NJ State Police.

In addition to Goodman, Williams told NJ 101.5 that there were several other arrests during the show for charges ranging from marijuana possession to solicitation, including:
9 disorderly conduct arrests;
11 solicitation arrests;
1 arrest for ?open lewdness?;
1 resisting arrest charge;
2 arrests for simple assault;
1 charge of harassment;
3 criminal trespassing arrests; and
1 arrest for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

Information on the other arrests was not immediately available. Guns N? Roses will play another show at MetLife Stadium Sunday.

Ugh...the venue i worked at, when i was you ger (now clsed) was a pretty big place. Held 13k or so. We has a problem with hookers on hockey game and wrestlig show nights. Less so with musuc acts, but......it happens. We typically let security get rid of them, unless they were actively with a customer.

We had more issues with the public lewdness...aka people dropping their drawers or whipping out their dicks and pissing and shitting in the most screwed up places.

Lol! The article phrased it badly, because in legal terms...typically solicitation is hooking! Not always, but when you ohrase it the way they did....usually. They mean operating a business without a required permit...so, yeah, unlicensed vendors selling shirts. We saw one of those get busted while in libe for the shuttle back to redds.

I was at a concert many years ago where I was in the pit.  Some dude tapped me on the shoulder and said "hey, step forward!"  I asked why, and he said "because I gotta take a leak!  Step forward or get pissed on buddy, it's your choice!"

Yup. Pretty much. We were in a relatively large urban setting, near a few different college campuses.  

The prostitution? Ongoing issue in that city......i still work there, in that city, and you still see it pretty regularly.

On the floor, in closets, in garbage cans, in SEATS......the stories i would hear from our custodial, and the shit i would have to enter into the line item descriptor for our gl system, so the bean counters knew why stuff was being replaced, was nuts. I know that, the kast year i was there, 18% of our break/fix budget was patron related damage. Fucked up, huh?

I think all they meant by that was they were giving a 2nd ticket upgrade after they gave away their first, because their next tweet was about another fan being upgraded.

Was there last night - Place completely packed. Not sure if we get the # of ticket sales or not, but there is no way it was not at least 90%, maybe 95% full. Tailgate was a madhouse and ran into many people who said they bought tix the morning of because they were real cheap.

I was surprised at how full it was. I was there Saturday - packed, it might have been 95% of that on Sunday. I too got tickets cheap the day of on Sunday, prompted me to go to the second show.

Was there last night as well.  Lots of people I ran into bought tickets the day before once the prices dropped.  I give GNR management credit, they seem to know how to fill up these shows for the band.

I was in Pit 1, what a friggin blast.  I caught one of Frank's drum sticks at the end of the show.  My friend and I had a great time.  

It's good business. The guy who spends $30 on a ticket is probably gonna be more inclined to buy a $40 shirt, or a few beers. People crying about attendance the whole tour have nothing to say about this past weekend. easily 150,000 people over two nights. A lot of people buying merch. This concert is cleaning up.

Is this a thing?  Are people really complaining about attendance?  Holy hell.  This tour could end today and I don't think there is a single person in the industry who wouldn't consider this an enormous success.  I have been going to live shows since I was 13 years old (in 1994) and the attendance at these has been amazing from what I've seen.

Max capacity per night was 55k, if the review from the my post from the 23rd was right.

So, over 2 nights, max 110k...and we know first night was 55k and sold out.

Last nght looked oacked, too. I'm guessing they did over 100k, but just a shade under 110k. Maybe...105?

Thats an astounding number of tickets, either way. I'm guessing 10 million+ in ticket sale revenue in 2 nghts, even with the discounts.

The joy in Axl's face on this moment is priceless. He really looks like he's having the time of his life this year, both with ACDC and GNR. That reflects on his attitude, his voice and his presence.

I hope this moment never goes away. And that something good comes out of this (a new album  :beer: :drool:)

I can only hear "That's some badass shit, Frank." It doesn't make sense after a cool 12 string slice by Slash, but that's all I can hear.

I get that feeling too.

This had become a band that couldn't give it away in this country the past few years.  Now they are filling stadiums.

I also don't think non-U.S. people can appreciate the near 180 degree shift in the tone of the reviews and how this band is seen right now.  GNR was, let's face it, pretty much an afterthought anymore, if anyone paid attention at all.

But look at it now.  All these reviews are glowing and there is a real sense the band is back.

However many the final numbers are - I was at both shows, and they had an absolute assload of people. Not many acts can fill up a football stadium like that.

The shows were incredible. Yeah, variation in the set would have been nice but I think at this point you more or less know what you're getting. There's obviously some sort of reason behind the songs they are/aren't doing.

Axl hasn't sounded this good since 2006.

Ifffff I Could have made it to night 2, I would have been bummed they didn't swap OTGM for Michelle.... But that's really nitpicking.

We all have our dream perfect set list ... But anybody griping over the set list in 2016 is an asshole plain and simple.
