Title: Help fellow gunners Post by: axlssis on July 13, 2016, 12:18:03 PM Don't know if this is where to put this but...........any ideas of gnr songs appropriate for a mother/son dance at a wedding? The wedding is next Sat, the 23rd and they spring it on me today?

You could do a cut up version of November Rain, maybe. Patience just doesn't "slow dance" well. Um....you might be able to cut up this I love a bit to keep it slow. There IS a very slow version (not done by GnR) of SCOM by Taken by Trees thats pretty good. Title: Re: Help fellow gunners Post by: 14 Yrs Of Silence on July 13, 2016, 12:25:47 PM There's quite a few that would be funny. A cover, but Mama Kin? Used to Love Her? You're Crazy? Back Off Bitch?
Ok, Sweet Child O' Mine is probably the best choice. Maybe Don't Cry. :peace: Title: Re: Help fellow gunners Post by: axlssis on July 13, 2016, 10:57:41 PM Thanks. Sweet child would totally be the one, but you can't really dance to it, I can't dance anyhow. My son was born in Aug. 1988, right when that songs was getting huge, so it's always sorta been his song. I swear he could sing afd as soon as he could talk! I was actually thinking something funny since my dancing is worse then funny. I actually thought of shout from animal house!
Title: Re: Help fellow gunners Post by: Voodoochild on July 14, 2016, 08:13:26 AM The Sheryl Crow's version of SCOM is not that bad and maybe you could dance.
But something funny/sweet would be Rocket Queen. Just don't play the studio version with the sex moans. :hihi: Or if you don't like him at all, just play I Don't Care About You. :P |
