How did they make it in time for 'tallica but not in time to see GnR?

How did they make it in time for 'tallica but not in time to see GnR? I vividly remember the tour and the 2 shows that I went to; Rose Bowl and LA Coliseum. FNM and Motorhead opened those shows and there was so much traffic that I essentially missed the opener for both shows. Perhaps they thought it was GnR that went on first and missed them? More likely, they were stoned/drunk out of their minds and don't remember clearly. |
