Post by: dont_damn_me on April 08, 2016, 10:56:55 AM
Well Ticketmaster fucked me good...after refreshing the page bunch of times i finally score a pair of floors but when my credit card was showing expired and I put in the new info.....all a suden tickmaster tells me that card is already on file..time runs out and the tix are gone!! Im beyond pissed off.  If any fellow fans have an extra pair for sale, preferably floors somewhere,  Id be very grateful.

I tried to get 2 more tickets right at 10am, had 3 computers going and I only got one pair of tickets pop-up in the 500s section then they were gone. Better not be all bought up by scalpers!

I got 500 section too right at 10am..i refined my search and got a floor seat, then my credit card disaster happened,  can't believe ticktmaster doesn't have a paypal option..or at least allow me to use my updated card, what a shitty experience.

You have to turn resale off and it shows what is still for sale, looks like a bunch more sold during lunch. More seem to pop up so keep checking.

The expiration date thing happened to me on Saturday. I re-entered and it said already on file. Instead of adding a new card with the new experation date what I had to do is edit the expired one that was on file and update it to the new expiration date. Luckily I got it done in time, but I was swearing very loudly before I figured it out.

Wish I had done that...fuckin bullshit..i rentered my info then it didn't accept it...i didn't see an edit  card option at the time, glad it worked out for you , I emailed tickmaster telling them how pissed off i am about them not accepting my updated info..

I was trying for Toronto and had a chance at 500 section row 20+ but passed.  I tried all the presales with no luck and still have two unused Nighttrain codes.
Eventually I bought 200 section front row tickets off of TicketsNow.com.  4 seats for $1000.
Betting they add the 17th as a date next.

I feel your pain brother axs for Las Vegas was a big pain. I recommend just be patient (no pun intended) and stubhub then within 24 hours of the show. Prices go way down as the show gets close and. Scalpels do not want to eat the tickets. I only paid 50 above face for Saturday night floor in Vegas.

Sweet deal congrats BillBaily702..enjoy the vegas show!...def going to look closer to the date for tix, may have to go to the show and buy from a scalper like  back in the good ol days if I don't find a pair online.

Are any members planning on meeting up somewhere before the show?

Did any other members try for tix but failed like me?
Something I find interesting is there are resale tix available in all sections except for the section I had briefly in my cart which was B7, it seems the public all bought that section and the rest to scalpers/reseller companies?

I struggled with the site too at 10am, but I ended up finally getting lower level fairly near the stage so I'm happy.  Didn't want 500 level!

500+ Reseller tickets left - only $23,940.00 for a General Admission Pit ticket! Get 'em while they're hot, or email ticketmaster and let them know how pissed off you are that scalpers are using their site to scalp tickets like I did.

Ticketmaster's response: "Our resale site was created to help fans sell their tickets when they couldn't attend an event. The only way we can determine who the scalpers are is if the order information matches. Once we find those orders, they are canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. It?s been my pleasure to assist you, please let us know if you need anything else."

I have row 20 lower level near the stage, since my wife and I are flying from Calgary we'd like to have seats a little closer to the stage, but I haven't been able to find better thanks to this Reseller horseshit on Ticketmaster's website.

Email your complaints to customer_support@ticketmaster.com, hopefully together we can make a difference!

I don't understand why Ticketmaster then doesn't limit the sale price of these resale tickets. If it was a $150 ticket, it should be resold as a $150 ticket... However, I am sure the prices are not monitored and TM receives a percentage of the resale price. It's unbelievable that even when I log for any type of ticket sale, tickets are sold out instantly and then hundreds / thousands of tickets instantly appear on scalper websites for 4x the price if not more... yeah, that really looks like genuine people trying to get a ticket off their hand. Whadda joke!!

Anyone know where's a good hotel to stay at?  Somewhere in walking distance of the Rogers Centre and next to good bars.  I haven't been to Toronto in ages.  Thanks.

We're staying at the Delta Toronto Centre right near the Roger's Centre, it had the best reviews, was built in 2013 and has a great view from the rooms. A little pricey, but most hotels are in downtown Toronto.

Latest response from Ticketmaster regarding the 500+ Reseller (Scalper) tickets on their site:

"We are currently still working on all the orders that were created for this event including resell. The good news about this event is that they have strict ticket limits. This will cause for orders to be canceled for customers who exceeded the limit. At this time we cannot grab any better seats for you since the event is sold out, but you can try checking up with us for any updates on seats that may open later (no guarantee on availability).

If you need anything else, just reply to this email or click Help on Ticketmaster.com!"
